The Star Fleet Enterprise with the coming of the “Starship Singularity” (where the world changes dramatically and unpredictably due to the capabilities unlocked by the development of the SpaceX Starship), it is possible to imagine a lot of people (15,000!) living, working, playing, being born, and eventually dying of old age – on orbit.

What does this look like? What are the Requirements, Architecture, Feasibility, and Trades (RAFT) to enable this? What Challenges must be overcome (Hardware, Business, Outreach, Framework)?

Our monthly virtual conference series will examine these questions and develop targets and goals for this massive – and inevitable – undertaking.

Humanity will move to the Moon, Mars, and throughout the solar system. But before we do that, we will build a city in orbit. The Star Fleet Enterprise is the first, necessary, precursor step.
