Why a Summit for Space Investment?
Neil Armstrong’s footprints on the Sea of Tranquility endure - and so does our ambition.
This year, the Moon Society’s Lunar Development Conference theme is: Living on the Moon - Development, Settlement, and Settlers, with our 3rd annual conference being held on July 20th and 23rd.
On July 20th, we have organized a special occasion to celebrate the Lunar landing anniversary! The attendees will join with like-minded people (from around the world) to honor this human achievement of 53 years ago - “One giant leap for mankind.”
On July 23rd, we will focus on the future of the Moon’s human development. Speaker topics will concentrate on the opportunities and difficulties of living on the Moon. Issues will be specified as life support, food, logistics and transportation, and the social & societal impacts of being ‘3 days from home’. Talks of launch and necessary infrastructure (robotics, housing, and communications) will be followed with government policies and commercial operations.
Following our successful prior events, we are very excited about our list of invited speakers. Experts and professionals in lunar science, space policy, advocacy, business, and academia are ready to present their research and novel views on their subjects.
Joining our event will automatically qualify you as a member of a Moon Society, so you get both - a seat at the event and an annual membership to the Moon Society. All sessions are virtual. Subscribe to us on YouTube to check our previous events.
